Real Estate marketing

While, to be successful in this industry, you need to be positive quite often your success will be in direct proportion to your ability to handle failure and rejection. So what do you do when you don’t sell the property on the day of auction? Not every auction will sell on the day so therefore you need to have a plan B or, as Justin Nickerson calls it, a two part strategy.

There are many skills you need to develop as an agent if you are going to run successful auction campaigns. One of those skills is how you work with the auctioneer. Unfortunately, many agents think they can leave all the hard work to the auctioneer on the day of the auction and somehow it will all magically work.

One of the ways you will be able to sell more auctions is by being able to explain the benefits to the seller while understanding the benefits to you. It’s also a good opportunity to display your skills.

Some more interesting observations about running successful auctions today with Justin Nickerson. He shares some valuable tips on keeping your buyers involved in the auction process and explains one of the big differences between auction and private treaty.

This week our special guest Justin Nickerson joins us to talk auction. Justin has just been named as the Australasian auctioneer of the year. We start our week with Justin talking about price.

Michael Sheargold will tell us today that the smart money in business development now is on client service but not as we knew it before.  Now it is at a whole new level.   You will hear about a very simple model taken from the conference.

Disruption is all around us.  Just as the taxi industry was shaken to its core by Uber, the real estate industry is also under challenge.  Michael Sheargold says that instead of complaining and waiting for it to impact, you should become the disruptor yourself.

Michael Sheargold is our feature guest this week as he talks about the major takeaways from his annual “Business of Real Estate” event held last month. He shares the thoughts and visions of some of the speakers about what is ahead.
