Seth Godin, one of many global experts helping the REIQ raise critical funds for bushfire victims

The REIQ has enlisted the help of a number of high profile business and real estate figures to raise much-needed funds for Australia’s bushfire victims, as part of the real estate community’s collaborative Beyond the Bricks fundraising initiative.

Beyond the Bricks brings together a national network of real estate brands and peak bodies, working to provide immediate financial assistance, as well as long term support, to the victims of these unprecedented bushfires.

The REIQ, with the support of Real Estate Talk, has produced a video series featuring a number of inspiring individuals, who have donated their time to support its critical fundraising efforts.

“The REIQ is very proud to be part of the Beyond the Bricks national campaign; a real estate industry wide response to the devastation caused by the bushfires,” said REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella.

“The initiative is divided into three key phases: Relief, Rebuild and Restore and has raised almost $1m to date.

“Each of our guest speakers have donated their time demonstrating their commitment to this important cause.”

Via interviews with Ms Mercorella, the likes of world-renowned marketing expert and best-selling author, Seth Godin and digital guru and entrepreneur , Jeff Turner, have shared some remarkable insights and rare pearls of wisdom.

“These inspiring interviews, which present our guest speakers’ expertise through a real estate lens, are available for you to watch and enjoy – all we ask in return is a donation to the bushfire appeal to help victims rebuild their lives.

“To make a donation, simply visit and choose the charity of your choice and make a donation. Alternatively, you can start your own personal or business fundraising page by selecting the ‘fundraise’ option.

“And finally, please remember to share the videos with your colleagues and friends.

“We hope you enjoy our Beyond the Bricks video series and the wisdom of our wonderful guest speakers.”
