Facebook Bans News But Realty Keeps Posting

Because of Facebook’s action today in blocking news content in Australia, many news-related Facebook pages have had posts removed.

Property marketing platform realty.com.au moved quickly to reassure agents and property sellers that its geo-diverse marketing strategy has ensured properties marketed through Realty will continue to benefit from exposure to both active and passive buyers on Facebook.

Realty’s 450+ Local Facebook pages, with established audiences who engage daily can continue to see information about properties including relevant new properties for sale or rent in the area.

This means agents’ property listings on Realty.com.au will continue to reach a highly targeted geo-mapped audience of more than 170,000 across Australia – for free.

Realty Director of Content Kevin Turner said “Realty’s national search and social media services are continuing to operate uninterrupted. These include Facebook portals, Facebook Ads, Auto-posting to Agency & Agent Facebook pages, branded posts, Instagram posts & Google Ads.”

“Realty’s geo-market strategy has taken over 2 years to develop. It means the moment properties become available for sale or rent, Realty presents these listings to highly targeted consumers on a range of platforms. For Realty it is business as usual” said Turner.
