Many older Australians are sitting on substantial wealth to fund their downsizing purchase. They have seen the value of their homes grow 412% over the last 25 years.   Of the older homeowners who have not yet downsized, about 15 per cent have strong intentions to do so.   This is a huge market and it making agents and developers sit up and take notice.   It has also seen the birth of a website dedicated to helping this active and motivated group of buyers find their downsizer property.
