Where are the property markets headed?

You’d have to be living under a rock not to realise that the world is very different today.
We’ve got low inflation or even deflation, low interest rates, slowing economic growth, low wages growth and falling population growth. Some are even suggesting this is the end of the property cycle as we know it.
And if your property investor, it’s very likely you’re going to have to change your strategy to cope in this new environment
I’ve invited two of our regular experts from our weekly Real Estate Talk show to help give some clarity to what’s ahead and what you should do as a property investor.
In this video watch Dr. Andrew Wilson, chief economist senior economist for Fairfax-owned Domain and Michael Yardney, of Metropole Property Strategists give their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities ahead and what property investors should do about it…

What is your view in property investment in Port Macquarie NSW.

My preference is to invest in the 4 big capital cities of Australia because that’s where jobs growth will be and this leads to population growth, wages growth, increased affordability and eventually capital growth.
The shift of our economic growth from regional areas to the “big smoke” will only continue
