Across the combined capital cities, auction markets remained subdued this week, with just 1,610 homes auctioned across the combined capitals.
National preliminary clearance rates rose this week, with 5 8.6% of the 1,264 results collected returning a successful result.
Melbourne and Sydney both saw improved preliminary clearance rates off fewer number of auctions week on week.
Across the smaller capitals, Adelaide had the busiest auction week, hosting 159 auctions, followed by Brisbane (143) and Canberra (88).
