Auction volumes were -9.6% lower this week with 1,814 homes taken to auction across the combined capital cities, after rising for the previous three weeks. Of the 1,477 capital city results collected so far, 62.3% were successful.

The previous week saw the volume of auctions rise above 2,000 for the first time since late June with 2,006 auctions held across the combined capitals, while this time last year, the auction market was much quieter with 1,423 homes taken to auction (impacted by lockdowns).
