Auction activity is slowly ramping up, with 706 homes taken to auction across the combined capital cities this week. There have been 453 results collected so far, returning a preliminary auction clearance rate of 67.9%
Melbourne agents conducted 259 auctions this week and 202 in Sydney. Across the smaller capital cities, Adelaide recorded the highest preliminary auction clearance rate (76.8%), followed by Brisbane (59.6%) and Canberra (52.2%).
