• Higher buyer demand

With 1,471 homes auctioned across the combined capitals, this was the quietest auction week since mid-July (when six of the eight states celebrated the Queen’s Birthday long weekend).

Falling for the first time in three weeks, the number of auctions held this week was down -23.1% from the 1,913 auctions held last week. With 1,169 results collected so far, the combined capital preliminary clearance rate inched higher with 59.5% of auctions reporting a successful result.

Watch a comprehensive wrap on the week’s national auction activity around Australia with Eliza Owen from CoreLogic. Auction Update is seen exclusively on Realty Talk.  See all our shows at Realty.com.au
