{"id":9747,"date":"2017-06-25T12:00:14","date_gmt":"2017-06-25T02:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/?p=9747"},"modified":"2017-06-25T12:00:14","modified_gmt":"2017-06-25T02:00:14","slug":"what-makes-the-best-real-estate-trainer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtyuncut\/what-makes-the-best-real-estate-trainer\/","title":{"rendered":"WHAT MAKES THE BEST REAL ESTATE TRAINER?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/faqs\/how-to-select-the-best-real-estate-trainer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blog<\/a> we discussed the qualities of the best real estate trainer:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>experience<\/li>\n<li>knowledge about the industry<\/li>\n<li>a track record<\/li>\n<li>maturity<\/li>\n<li>courage to tell you the truth<\/li>\n<li>a caring attitude<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Try asking some questions like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why should I appoint you as my trainer?<\/li>\n<li>What can you teach me?<\/li>\n<li>What would your plan for me look like?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those 3 questions alone should give you a good indication about what the person offers you.\u00a0\u00a0Listen carefully to the answers.\u00a0 You are looking for someone who can think on their feet, has confidence in their own ability and will talk in terms of what they can do for you.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/inner-2-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9587 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/inner-2-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"inner-2\" width=\"276\" height=\"207\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t want to know about all the other agents they have helped \u2013 big deal \u2013 that is not going to help you.\u00a0 References are important but just remember they will only give you references from people who will say good things about them.\u00a0 Instead \u2013 try asking \u201cTell me about someone who was not successful because of engaging you?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Why would you ask that?\u00a0 Mainly because they are not expecting it.<\/p>\n<p>It is also reasonable to expect that the trainer you are interviewing should know a bit about you.\u00a0 Hopefully they will have done some research on you and know a little bit about your business.\u00a0 If they have not bothered to do that and they can\u2019t offer \u2018tailored for you\u2019 suggestions about lifting you to the next level based on what they know about your achievements to date, then the offering from them will be a \u2018shelf offering\u2019 that is a one size fits all approach \u2013 not good!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/inner-3-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9588 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/inner-3-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"inner-3\" width=\"289\" height=\"217\" \/><\/a>The third question above \u2013 \u201cWhat would your plan for me look like?\u201d \u2013 is a good one because you are looking for something specific, measurable and will stretch you.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is your growth with no excuses and there should be some guarantee that if you do everything asked of you, the results as promised will be achieved.<\/p>\n<p>Your trainer will be asking for unconditional faith from you so I don\u2019t think it is too much to ask for an unconditional guarantee from the trainer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In an earlier blog we discussed the qualities of the best real estate trainer: experience knowledge about the industry a track record maturity courage to tell you the truth a caring attitude Try asking some questions like: Why should I appoint you as my trainer?&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176692471,"featured_media":9590,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[141],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9747","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blogs"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>WHAT MAKES THE BEST REAL ESTATE TRAINER?
