I learnt many years ago that the people who earn the most money, do so because they recognize opportunity and take action.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it has something to do with skill (in fact a lot to do with skill) but it has more to do with attitude.<\/p>\n<p>No one is comfortable to do b<a href=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/concept2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9194 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/concept2.jpg\" alt=\"concept2\" width=\"357\" height=\"187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtyuncut\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/02\/concept2.jpg 650w, https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtyuncut\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/02\/concept2-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtyuncut\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/02\/concept2-640x336.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/a>usiness with someone who is negative. If you\u2019re negative about the market, negative about the conditions and generally negative about opportunities &#8211; then that will reflect in how you talk to people and how you conduct yourself day to day.<\/p>\n<p>Try this as an exercise at your next open house. When someone arrives, greet them enthusiastically, engage in conversation and show a genuine interest in them and what they\u2019re looking to achieve. Do that with every person you meet at the open house and see what happens.\u00a0 You will feel more positive; they will tell you so much more and you will feel as if it has been a great open.<\/p>\n<p>What you give out is what you get back.<\/p>\n<p>I attended some training in the early days of my real estate career and was actually told by the trainer that\u00a0in the early days I should \u201cfake it until I make it\u201d. That was some of the worst advice I\u2019ve ever received.<\/p>\n<p>You see, if you are\u00a0honest with people, they will be honest back with you. If someone asks you a question and you don\u2019t know the answer, tell them you\u2019ll find out and then make sure you follow-up. Good advice does not have to be given immediately. In fact advice that is researched and well thought through will be much more powerful and do a lot more for your credibility.<\/p>\n<p>So let\u2019s get back to the question at the top of this blog.\u00a0 Why do two agents in the same office with the same opportunities earn different levels of income?<\/p>\n<p>It can be summed up in a few words.
