{"id":10203,"date":"2017-09-19T07:00:07","date_gmt":"2017-09-18T21:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reuncut.com.au\/?p=10203"},"modified":"2022-05-24T11:27:50","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T01:27:50","slug":"outstanding-real-estate-presentations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtyuncut\/outstanding-real-estate-presentations\/","title":{"rendered":"Outstanding real estate presentations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First impressions count and there is no better demonstration of this that with a listing presentation.&nbsp;&nbsp; You have seven seconds to make a first impression.<\/p>\n<p>When you think about it, that could be the first seven seconds of a telephone conversation or the first few seconds when you meet someone for the first time.&nbsp; It will be the little things that make the difference.<\/p>\n<p>People don\u2019t care how much you know until they know how much you care!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pointers about first impressions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Never speak ill of your competition.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the same high level of service, no matter the value of your client\u2019s property.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage sellers to interview multiple agents to ensure they are working with the right person.<\/li>\n<li>Never put pressure on potential clients.03<\/li>\n<li>Be informative without being aggressive or pushy.<\/li>\n<li>Be honest.<\/li>\n<li>Share the good and the bad and be constructive with your advice, but don\u2019t sugarcoat the situation.<\/li>\n<li>Dress well and appropriately for the client and situation.<\/li>\n<li>Smile and make eye contact.<\/li>\n<li>Speak clearly and with confidence.<\/li>\n<li>Always follow up witha personal note. Don\u2019t use a form letter. Try to send a handwritten note if you can.<\/li>\n<li>Always focus on the prospect\u2019s needs as the foundation of your discussion.<\/li>\n<li>Guide the prospect to the answers.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the presentation focused on the client. Talk about yourself, but put it in the context of how you can help them.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t show up late.<\/li>\n<li>Take your prospective client seriously.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t talk more than you listen.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t ignore anyone at the presentation.
