The important role of a buyer agent, representing the buyer in a real estate transaction, is now no longer being debated. Good representation on behalf of the buyer is long overdue. It is unreasonable, and quite frankly ridiculous, to hold onto the theory that an agent representing the seller can also act in the best interests of the buyer. With that comes a recognition of the enormous and valuable assistance a good buyer agent can bring to a transaction - not just for the buyer but also for the listing agent.
