{"id":34635,"date":"2022-11-21T17:00:48","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T06:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtytalk\/?p=34635"},"modified":"2022-11-21T17:51:45","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T06:51:45","slug":"market-picks-up-pace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/channels.realty.com.au\/realtytalk\/market-picks-up-pace\/","title":{"rendered":"Market picks up pace"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><b>Sydney clearance rebounds<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Withdraws remain high<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Activity tipped to rise again<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With auction activity trending upwards for the second week, the combined capitals hosted 2,266 auctions this week \u2013 the busiest week since late June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With 1,790 results collected so far, the combined capital&#8217;s preliminary clearance rate rose three percentage points, with 63.1% of auctions returning a successful result.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Despite the rebound in the preliminary rate, Sydney recorded the highest withdrawal rate since mid-September (20.8%), but the portion of properties passed in at auction fell to its lowest rate of the year (11.8%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Auction activity is set to rise as we approach the peak in seasonal activity, with around 2,450 auctions scheduled to be held.
