Although volumes were high, they were down 5.7 percent from the 3,096 originally scheduled.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The higher volumes returned a slightly lower preliminary clearance rate this week, with 81.8 percent of auctions recording a successful result, down from last week\u2019s preliminary clearance rate of 83.3 percent, which revised down to 80.2 percent at final figures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There were 1,478 auctions held in Melbourne over the week, the busiest auction week the city has seen since late March.
