• No stopping Sydney
  • Canberra tops the smaller capitals

This week and weekend

There were 816 capital city homes scheduled for auction last week, down from 866 over the previous week and 1,639 this time last year. The final clearance rate came in at 63.0 per cent across the combined capital cities, the highest final clearance rate recorded since the week ending 15th March 2020 when it was 65.3 per cent

This week there are 968 capital city auctions being tracked by CoreLogic increasing on the previous week by about 150.

Melbourne auction volumes remain at very low levels.  This week just 14 auctions on the radar, compared to 13 last week.

There are 726 Sydney homes scheduled for auction this week, increasing on both last week when 600 Sydney homes were taken to auction, and one year ago, when there were 646 auctions across the city.

Across the smaller auction markets, Canberra is set to hold the most auctions this week 74, followed closely by Adelaide 73. Brisbane is expecting to host 66 auctions, while Perth has 13 auctions.
